We are Charlie's P.L.A.C.E. a youth-serving organization dedicated to providing marginalized youth in Kalamazoo with a safe space to learn, grow, and develop. Our six-week Youth Basketball League is one of our most significant initiatives, providing young people the opportunity to participate in team programming and to learn and practice fundamental basketball skills.
Our Impact
Over the years, we have accomplished small but essential steps in the path of creating a better future for the children of Kalamazoo. Here are a few of them:
- Helped over 1,000 students in experiencing safe spaces to learn and grow.
- The Youth Basketball League has generated kids making lifelong friendships and introducing new cultures.
- We serve grades 2-9 and provide them with an opportunity to develop fundamental basketball skills.
- The League teaches essential team building skills, providing a sense of belongingness.
Sponsorship Tiers
Charlie's Place offers three-tiered sponsorship levels for our Youth Basketball League. The individual sponsorship level is $300, the small business level is $500, and the corporate sponsorship level is $2500.
Individual Sponsorship ($300):
- Sponsor's name or logo listed on our website in the sponsors’ section.
- A shoutout on our social media handles for supporting the Kalamazoo community.
- Thank you Certificate from our Board.
Small Business Sponsorship ($500):
- Recognition as a Small Business Sponsor on our website.
- Company logo included on the back of the Youth Basketball League T-shirts.
- Name recognition on our social media handles.
- Thank you Certificate from our board.
Corporate Sponsorship ($2500):
- Company logo prominently displayed on our website, including a link to your company website.
- Placement on the highest visible position on the back of Youth Basketball League T-shirts.
- Prominent recognition in all promotional materials for the league.
- Company announcement during the Youth Basketball League games.
- Thank you Certificate from our Board.
