Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic meaning they are 'less' likely to induce an allergic immune response in someone with dog allergies. This means that some people, especially those with severe allergies to dogs, may still experience an allergic response. While I am transparent and can tell you the genetic makeup of the parents which will contribute to the offspring, no one can guarantee that you or your family member with allergies will not have an allergic response to their dogs or puppies. If the individual in your household has an allergy to your new puppy, how will you deal with this?*

7. Like all puppies, goldendoodles need training from day 1 to prevent bad behaviors from starting and to become an integral part of your family. How will you provide training for your puppy?*

7. Goldendoodles are known for having an extended puppyhood. Beginning training from Day 1 will establish good behaviors and help your puppy to become an integral part of your family. Our extensive exposure, socialization, and training program sets your puppy up for success prior to leaving our home. And we want you to continue that good momentum and be successful. Do you agree to participating in at least 1 puppy basic obedience program? Examples: In-person puppy basic obedience course with a professional trainer, Baxter & Bella, or sessions with a private trainer.*

8. If you are struggling with unwanted behaviors from your puppy (biting, potty training, etc.) what resources will you use to address these behaviors (e.g., trainer, breeder, knowledgeable friend)?*

9. Doodles require a significant amount of grooming. Weekly (and sometimes daily) brushing is required, and doodles need to see a groomer every 6-8 weeks to maintain their coat to prevent matting. This can cost approximately $100-$120 each grooming session. Are you financially prepared for this? If not, what are your grooming plans?*

10. Where will your puppy sleep at night? Also, once puppy is a grown adult dog, where will they sleep at night?*

11. Do you agree to provide your puppy with all essential vaccinations throughout the course of his/her life? This includes rabies, distemper, parvovirus, kennel cough, and others depending on your veterinarian’s suggestion. If not, please provide your reasoning. *

Step 1: Complete and submit this application. A $100 nonrefundable application fee is due upon submission. The fee will go towards the payment for the puppy.

Step 2: I will review your application within 7-10 business days (likely sooner, but if I'm finishing up a litter it could take some time). I will call your veterinarian and/or personal reference to ask about your pet ownership experience, husbandry and veterinary care for your current/previous pets, ability to care for a new puppy, and your family dynamics and interest in owning a dog.

Step 3: I will call you to let you know the results of your application, and you're welcome to ask any followup questions. Application approval secures your position on the wait list for a future puppy. (Emails and newsletters will be provided with important dates, payment details, and additional information when breeding and pregnancy is confirmed.)

Step 4: A $500 nonrefundable deposit will be collected within 1 week after the litter is born. An email will be sent with payment instructions for the deposit. You will have 1 week to provide payment. Failure to provide payment may result in losing your position on the waitlist or a spot with the current litter.

Step 5: Puppy Selection Day will occur on a weekend when the puppies are 7 weeks old. A schedule will be provided. Note: Breeder has the option to hold back any puppies deemed essential for advancing the breeding program including pick of the litter.

Step 6: Puppies are ready to go home when they are at least 8 weeks of age. A schedule for pick up will be provided. Remaining payment is due upon arrival and you will also sign the Puppy Sales Contract.
