  • Hello and Welcome to Auchingarrich Wild Camping

     

    Our bell tents are the perfect solution for anyone wishing to camp but without the hassle of bringing / erecting a tent.

     

    We provide sleeping mats, a fire pit and picnic table so all you need to do is bring sleeping bags and cooking utensils. There is also a cafe onsite so you don't even need to cook if you don't want to!

     

    Please note:

    Dogs are sadly not allowed in the bell tents.

    Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

    Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

    At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.

    If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

    No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.

    There is a composting toilet next to the campsite. Access to a toilet block is in the main park, but please note this is a 10-minute walk from the campsite. This site has no on-site shower facilities.

     

    As the campsite is located in the wildlife park we have an additional one off charge of £20.00 per family for a happy camper pass which allows you access to the park for the duration of your stay. Please pick up your passes from the gift shop.

    Sleeps 4-6 people

    Prices: £80 per night

    As the campsite is located in the wildlife park there is a one off happy camper family pass of £40 which allows unlimited access to the park for the duration of your stay. 

    Please ensure lights in the playbarns are switched off after use.

    The walkthroughs will all be locked at 5.00pm

    Dogs are not allowed in the main part of the zoo as the Lemurs, Meerkats, Wallabies, Emus and Kangaroos get very stressed.

  • The park is open between 9.00am and 5.00pm. Checkin is after 2.00pm and checkout is before 11.00am but your happy camper pass will allow you access to the park before and after check-in times. If you intend to arrive after 7.00pm please let us know.

                • Each Friday and Saturday the cafe remains open for an extra couple of hours allowing us to get the smoker out and prepare a delicious BBQ.

                  We have plenty of choice for the whole family. The menu is available in the cafe.

                  Must be booked in advance using the form below, and subject to weather permitting. Meals will be cooked on the chargrill and served in the cafe if inclement weather.
