    Participants: 18 years old and younger Check-in at 5 pm at the Red Robin parking lot, 22705 Marine View Dr. S. in Des Moines Parade begins at 5:45 pm sharp Application Deadline July 8, 2023 Please note that free Pirate Theme construction materials to decorate your bike, wagon, or other small wheeled float will be available at the Waterland Children's Festival at Des Moines Beach Park on Saturday, July 22, between Noon and 4 pm.

  • IMPORTANT

  • An adult, 19 or older, must always supervise all entries before, during, and after the parade. By signing the Hold Harmless Agreement below, you are indicating that you understand and agree to uphold it and the rules and regulations for the parade. You must provide proof of insurance and a valid driver's license if necessary. Please complete this Hold Harmless Agreement form for all persons involved in your entry:
