By accepting this agreement, you automatically become a preferred customer with priority service during times of extended outages or service needs. Additional visits will be billed separately if not covered under warranty.
The annual maintenance includes the following tasks.
- Check intake and exhaust louvers for obstructions
- Change oil & oil filter
- Check air filter and replace if necessary
- Check water level in battery and fill with distilled water as necessary
- Check battery charge condition with digital battery tester
- Check & clean battery terminals if necessary
- Inspect and replace spark plugs if necessary
- Check general condition of the generator to include vibration, unusual noise and leaks
- Properly dispose of oil
- Check voltage and frequency of the generator
- Check electrical connections inside the control panel section
- Check electrical connections inside the transfer switch
- Perform a transfer test, if desired, by disconnecting utility power simulating a power outage
- Check condition of coolant, (if necessary to replace add $125)
- Check condition of belts and hoses
- Check for tightness of belts
Additional Services
Semi-Annual Maintenance - includes 2 visits per year. Annual maintenance tasks and 2nd visit consisting of inspection of unit, battery and output voltage checks.
