    • Wasteland City and the larger area of the Theme Zone are for camps that are highly themed in a Post Apocalyptic style and offer a high level of interactivity to fellow Wastelanders. Theme zone camps have nothing visible from the street that has not been themed appropriately (including their cars, tents, structures, even ice coolers). They're also centrally located in the heart of the action and entertainment of the event. If you want to apply to be placed here, fill out this application.
    • Open Camping is for general attendees. This area does not require your camp to be themed, it's only suggested. If this describes you, stop now, and close this form, as you do not need to fill out an application, even if you plan to theme out your camp.

For those of you who want to submit your applications early, please do! We will try to do tribe approvals weekly, to give tribes as much time as possible to prepare.

Feel free to contact me at the email below if you have any questions.

For tribes applying to be placed in the Theme Zone

  • *Estimated cost for a private porto is $325.00 and full payment is due by July 31, 2023.

  • LEAVE NO TRACE

All camps are expected to remove all trash from their site, including cigarette butts, zip ties, nails, wood splinters, etc. If it wasn't born in the desert, it doesn't get left behind. We take this very seriously* (*it can affect tribe placement/acceptance going forward), and expect all tribes to have plans in place for their trash removal. See the Tribe FAQ for helpful hints on how to mitigate trash (for example: Putting a tarp under your wood pile).

The Trash Panda is the person who is responsible for leading the charge for your tribe to ensure your entire space is left trash-free (border to border and also the street in front of your space).

You will also be responsible for distributing Late Stay wristbands to your crew.

  • Click the Submit Application below. You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. It will also contain a copy of your completed application for your records (KEEP THIS FOR REFERENCE), and will be sent to the email that you provided on this application (make sure you receive this confirmation, otherwise your application did not submit properly).

Please note: You are submitting an application.  You are not yet approved and "good to go." You will receive an email stating if your tribe camp application has been accepted/approved (or not). We may also contact you if we need additional information.

Please do not reach out to us to "check your status."  Be patient as we get more requests from tribes wishing to be in the Theme Zone each year. You will hear from us one way or the other.

Thanks, and good luck to ya!
