For Bows and Bones, Pet Sitting can be defined as going into clients' homes as they need us to take care of their pets, according to the instructions we are given. We have daily and weekly "regular clients" who use our services on a consistent basis, and we also have "vacation clients" who use our services when they travel. We offer several services, including Regular 30-minute visits, Double 60-minute visits, Yard Scooping, and more! Our visits start as early as 6am and end as late as 11pm.

After you have provided us with your availability and you have been hired, you will be provided with a weekly (Monday through Sunday) schedule on the Saturday before the week starts. We will set up an initial introduction for each house before your solo visits start to make sure the pets are a good fit for you and vice versa. A timeframe will be given to you (as requested by pet owners) in which to do visits. Visits are typically based around a 2-hour window (example: most of our lunch time dog walks request the 11am - 1pm timeframe).

We are a team and share visits with each other, so you will not be expected to cover every visit for one house or every visit in a single day. Every day / week / month is different, and although you will have a "set availability", your days will almost never be the same. In fact, your schedule will often change throughout the week as visits get added on or cancelled, so you must be 100% available within your schedule blocks. Most days you will have large breaks between a series of visits during your schedule block(s).

Holidays are our busiest times and we do require all sitters to be available when their working days fall on major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Please note that there are no guaranteed "minimum" hours. You provide us with your availability, and we schedule as many visits within your schedule block(s) as possible. Some days are very slow, some days are very busy. This job requires availability and flexibility to thrive. Due to the bonding that occurs between sitters and pets, we require at least a six- month commitment to work with our company. Of course - longer is better, but six months is required. Please let us know if you have any questions about this or are unable to commit.

It is also important to note that our clients pay a premium fee for our services and therefore expect exceptional work. We have a reputation for excellence with high quality standards for our sitters. You must be honest, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and have a true love for animals to do this job well.

Pay starts at $10 / hour plus tips!
