Deposit Policy: All guests are required to place a 50% down payment on the date of booking for all hunts booked in the same Calendar year. The remaining 50% payment must be paid to us or our assigned agent no less than 45 days prior to the commencement of the trip. For trips booked in the following calendar year a $1500 Deposit is required. The remaining balance payment must be paid to us or its booking agent no less than 45 days prior to the commencement of the trip. The date of commencement of the trip shall be the calendar day in which you are scheduled to arrive in either Coldbay or St Paul Island via plane trip.  All deposits and payments are fully non-refundable once provided to Aleutian Island Waterfowlers or any of its agents. 

 

Cancellation Policy:All deposits are completely non refundable, In the event you cancel your scheduled trip more than 120 days out to the commencement date of the trip, any and all deposits and payments paid by you shall be deemed fully forfeited and non-refundable and shall not be returned but can be applied the following year to the same hunt or you can transfer the hunt credit to another hunter to replace you that year with no changes. In the event you cancel your scheduled trip with less than 120 days’ notice, any deposits and payments already paid by you shall not be refunded or applied to a future hunting trip. But you will have 5 days to fill the hunt with a replacement hunter, after that we will try to sell the hunt at a discounted cancellation rate and you forfeit all your rights to any compensation.  

 

I hereby acknowledge that I have read and reviewed the above terms and conditions. I understand what is expected of myself and my companions under this agreement, and agree to abide by all expectations and terms and conditions of the trip. I further acknowledge and agree to the terms of payment and understand that my trip may be cancelled for reasons both under my control, as well as beyond my control and beyond the control of Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc and its agents, owners, and employees, and agree to said terms and conditions. 

LIABILITY WAIVER

A.) Covenant to Hold Harmless and Absolve Liability

Hunter agrees to hold harmless and absolve Aleutian Island Waterfolwers LLC, and its guides, employees, owners, agents, representatives, landlords, and suppliers of any and all liability of any kind for any incidents, accidents, or damages incurred by Hunter or Hunter’s personal property during the course of Hunter’s hunting trip. Hunter covenants and agrees not to hold any fore mentioned parties liable for any and all injuries, illness, or casualty of any kind incurred while engaged in a hunting trip led by Aleutian Island Waterfwolers LLC.

 

B.) Terms and Conditions of Liability Waiver

➢ Hunter agrees to abide by all applicable Federal and Alaska state laws throughout the duration of the hunting trip. Any violation of any and all Federal, State, and/or Local laws by Hunter shall be a result of Hunter’s own actions and Hunter agrees to bear responsibility for such and will not hold Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc or any of its agents, owners, employees, guides, or representatives liable for any actions undertaken by the Hunter during the trip. Hunters understand they will be in Small duck boats including but not limited to a 17 Bankes Boat, 19 ft custom Duckwater, 25 ft Grady White tender boats, 21 ft ocean skiff and 4* 15-18 ft inflatable zodiacs along with Layout boats in our day to day guided hunting operation and you are physically fit to hunt out of them.

➢ Absolutely no drugs or excessive use of alcohol will be tolerated at any time. In the event that the Hunter or their companions are observed consuming or being in possession of any alcohol or drug paraphernalia immediately prior to or during a hunting session (within three (3) hours of departure for the immediate upcoming hunt), Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc and its guides, employees, or representatives shall cancel the immediate hunting session at Hunter’s expense, and the Hunter and his/her companions shall not be allowed to embark on a hunting trip for no less than eight (8) hours following the cancelled trip.

C.) Hunting is our business, Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc cannot guarantee you a limit. We work diligently to produce game for the hunters and will hunt you in areas where waterfowl have been previously taken or in areas that have been pre scouted. We cannot control the harsh weather or interference from other acts of god or hunters in the field.

D.) Hunter agrees to all rules discussed during orientation of the practices of Aleutian Islands Waterfowlers llc

E.) Hunter agrees that any and all photos, videos, or other recordings or images captured by the Hunter and/or his/her companions during the hunting trip shall be deemed the mutual property of the Hunter and Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc . To that effect, Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc may use, replicate, and redistribute any photos, videos, or other recordings or images captured during the hunting trip without the permission of the Hunter for any and all uses and purposes.

F.) The parties hereby agree that Alaska law shall be governing throughout the course of the hunting trip and any disputes or claims brought before, during, or after the hunting trip. The parties voluntarily and willingly consent to the jurisdiction of the court system of the State of Alaska and agree that any actions brought by either party shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alaska and shall be so brought within the court system of the State of Alaska

G.) The underneath signor hereby expressly and intentionally agrees and understands that there is an inherent risk of drowning, Hypothermia , Exposure, accidental gunshots, animal attacks or in sever cases death and freely accept the inherent risk that are associated with these types of trips on dangerous water and freezing conditions hunting. I freely of sound mind and Body agree that the legal jurisdiction is Aleutian East Borough,Alaska as the legal venue and authority to hear and try any and all actions of any kind regarding or relating to the hunting trip and any disputes arising therefrom. In the event any dispute exceeds the jurisdiction or authority of the Aleutian East Borough Court the underneath signor hereby agrees and consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the District Court of Anchorage Alaska, to hear any try any such action

H.) AIW-Cold Bay Adv lodge owners and management have operated since 1985 in The harshest conditions remote Alaska can produce and we are positive we will do everything in our power to keep you safe and offer you a top notch experience as our combined guide staff has over 35 years guiding in these regions of Alaska and unmatched experience with a 100% safety record , But unfortunately things can happen thats why they call them accidents and no fault of anyone.

 

I certify that I have read this Liability waiver contract above and agree to abide by the terms of this contract. Hunters agrees to hold Aleutian Island Waterfowlers, LLC, management or employees harmless and waves any claims against company and employees or sub-contractors for injuries, death or medical cost and transort. We highly encourage Global rescue Travel insurance to cover all your needs. We have put link on our book hunt page for your convenience

 

➢ We are not responsible If your trip is canceled or delayed at any point due to  prolonged dangerous weather conditions, acts of god, Pandemic or Volcanic activity in the  immediately prior to the commencement of the trip, we strongly encourage travel insurance to cover any hardships caused. 

➢ “Dangerous weather conditions” shall refer to only those weather conditions in which travel or hunting becomes unsafe in Cold bay or Island X. Weather events and travel conditions outside of the Aleutians or Pribilof Islands shall not have any bearing on the scheduled trip, and any delays or cancellations of the trip due to weather or travel conditions outside of Aleutian East borough, Alaska we shall not warrant a refund or postponement of the trip in any capacity as travel insurance covers this.

In the event that a local weather condition in Coldbay or St Paul is unsafe to hunt and dangerous we will postpone the hunt for the day. As high winds exceeding 35mph or unsafe ocean waves &  storms, etc.), the trip shall not be cancelled, but any individual hunting outings scheduled that day as part of the full trip may be cancelled or postponed at the sole discretion of Aleutian Island Waterfowlers llc  management. All hunters must accept and understand that there can be weather cancellation days for safety reasons, Any cancelled outings due to weather are nonrefundable and shall not be applied to future hunting trips beyond the immediate trip. Although we will do everything our power to succeed in the overall hunt. Any cancellations of outings due to weather conditions which are prolonged and last more than 48 hours (i.e., High winds,snow storms, ice storms, etc.) which render hunting outings and travel in general unsafe shall not be refunded but will be eligible for reimbursement from Travel insurance companies. As we strongly encourage all participants to buy a travel insurance policy in case of an emergency and or financial hardships that this trip can require.

➢ After you have arrived at Cold Bay Adventures lodge or Island X Lodge hunting property,  AIW LLC - Cold Bay Adventures Lodge management and its owners, employees, agents, and representatives reserve the right to terminate or cancel the remainder of your trip with no refunds of any payments already made by you in the event such cancellation or termination is necessary for the safety or well-being of all parties involved. Said determination is made at the sole discretion of AIW-Cold Bay Adv Lodge and its owners, employees, agents, and representatives. Factors or events which may lead to the cancellation of a hunting outing or the trip in its entirety include, but are not limited to, the consumption of alcohol in the field or within 3 hours of the commencement of a hunt; improper or irresponsible handling or discharging of firearms; the destruction of any part of the lodge or any property therein; disrespectful actions towards any guides, guests, or other individuals; failure to follow the rules and guidelines of any hunts; or any other actions which are unlawful or illegal.

 

Hunting Licenses, Stamps:

All guests are responsible for obtaining their Alaska sm game hunting lic $60 and waterfowl stamps federal and State at their own expense.  it is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the requisite Licenses/stamps prior to your scheduled visit. In the event you fail to obtain your own license, Aleutian Island Waterfowlers will try to help you online to get all licenses and stamps needed , but there is no guarantee.  And we will not let you participate in any activity or hunt without all legal paperwork in order to participate as a hunter. And at that point we reserves the right to cancel a hunt or trip at our own discretion with no refund.

 

Lodging, Group Size, and Animals:

➢ We hunt 12 hunters per 5d hunt on Island X with a staff of 5-6 total.  And hunts shall not exceed 8 guests per week at Cold Bay Adventures Lodge.  
➢ During Sept and October hunts hunters are allowed to bring their own dogs but will be responsible to feed and water and dispose of all dog excrement at the lodge and we take no responsibility for any injuries or death to your dog or assume any financial responsibility for added travel expences.  Failure to follow these rules  shall result in additional charges to be applied to the bill. All dogs are required to remain, reside, and sleep in the basement dog room in there crates  while at the lodge, unless outside of the lodge on a leash while hunting or exercising. 

 

What To Expect:
➢ All of our hunts are fair chase and these are wild animals, which mean there are no guarantees. There are many factors outside of our control that will affect our trips for good or bad every day of the season. We are committed to providing you with the best hunt we can. Limits do not happen every day of the season, but your licensed alaskan guide will always be professional, keep a positive attitude, and will provide all knowledge and equipment necessary for a safe and enjoyable trip.

 

What We Expect From You:
➢ We expect you to have a positive attitude, follow our rules, and conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times. We hope that you will treat your guide and fellow guests the same as you would any other member of your family or hunting group.

 

What Not Included In Our Hunt prices:

Rd trip airfare to Anchorage the day before our hunts start - one nights hotel and meals  in Anchorage -  Rd trip airfare from Anchorage to Cold bay on Raven or Aleutian Airways Approximately $1200pp rd trip, AK small game lic $60, State and federal duck stamps $45.  Guide gratuities 10-15% at end of trip paid in cash to staff. Any misc swag-hats, shirts that you purchase, Any extra charges for freight or baggage fees or change tickets, Taxidermy charges, Ammo ,Gun and personal clothing. Local city taxes, bed taxes, and admin fees not to exceed $350 in Coldbay, $500 on Island X. It will be listed on final hunt contract receipt.

 

The underneath signor hereby expressly and intentionally agrees and consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the Aleutian East Borough , Alaska as the legal venue and authority to hear and try any and all actions of any kind regarding or relating to the hunting trip and any disputes arising therefrom. In the event any dispute exceeds the jurisdiction or authority of the Borough Court of Aleutian East, Alaska, the underneath signor hereby agrees and consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the District Court of Anchorage, Alaska to hear any try any such action.
