    VENUE: 

    This is an ALL OUTDOOR venue. All vendors are required to bring their own tent, power, and lighting for their setup. A tent is not mandatory, but recommended.

    ACCEPTANCE PROCESS:

    This is a curated market, so all vendors must be accepted by Black on the Block. You will receive an email within 2 weeks if you have been accepted with further instructions. You will only be contacted by us if you have been accepted. Acceptance is not guaranteed, even if you are a returning vendor. 

    Black on the Block does not send decline emails or application status updates to applicants. Requests from applicants regarding the status of their application may not be answered. 

    VENDOR AGREEMENT AND FEE:

    You must sign our Vendor Agreement and pay your non-refundable vendor fee within 72 hours of receiving an acceptance email. You will receive your acceptance invoice from quickbooks@notification.intuit.com. Failure to make payment by the date given in that email will lead to your spot being given to another vendor on the waitlist, so please be responsive. 

    VENDOR SET UP:

    All vendors are responsible for their entire setup; including tents, tables, chairs, generators, power, and lighting. Free on-site parking is available for vendors. More details about this will be sent upon acceptance. All vendor staff must be present by 12pm on June 18th to receive a vendor wristband. Any staff arriving after 12pm will not be permitted.  

    VENDOR INSURANCE:

    All accepted vendors will be required to obtain General Liability insurance for the date of the event and submit it to Black on the Block. More information will be sent upon acceptance. 

    ATTENDEE ENTRY FEE:

    Attendees will be charged an entry fee of $20 for our Juneteenth Festival only, due to this being our largest event. The usual entry fee of $12 will return in July.

  • Food and Pre-packaged Booths

    If you plan to sell food or pre-packaged desserts or beverages at your booth and you are not a food truck, please note you must submit a Temporary Food Facility application to Black on the Block in order to get approved by the LA County Health Department. This fee can range from $82-$184 depending on what you are selling. You will be billed for this along with your vendor fee. Instructions for this will be sent with your acceptance email.
