Dessert pie, from blueberry and rhubarb to pecan and buckeye, from single crust to double crust, are all welcome!
Drop pies off on Tuesday, July 16 at 6pm to the Senior Center (167 W Center Street).
Pick up pie pan and remainder of pie at 8pm on the same day (July 16). Any unclaimed pie pans will be available for pick up on Sunday, July 21 between 6:30-7:00 p.m. at the table located at the south of the stage or at the Parks & Recreation office after Fiesta Days.
Winners announced on stage Sunday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Homemade Pie Contest Rules
- This contest is open to bakers of all ages!
- Pies must be entered in the name of the person who made it.
- Contestant may enter up to three (3) pies.
- Each pie must be made from scratch and based in a 9” – 10” pie plate/pan.
- You may not use pre-made store-bought crust.
- Each pie must include a cover/lid.
Enter a Pie
- Complete this entry form which includes acknowledgement that the pie(s) become property of Fiesta Days and will not be returned. Your pie pan WILL be returned, please put your name and phone number on the bottom of the pan.
- A copy of your pie recipe, on a 3x5 card or 8x11 paper, with a list of ingredients must be provided with the recipe name, contestant name and phone number, at time of drop off.
- Bring your pie to the contest site, at the Senior Center, at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. At this time your pie will be given an entry number, maintaining confidentiality of the bakers.
Judging
- Judges will not be present while pies are delivered to ensure confidentiality of the bakers.
- Judging area will be "off limits" to all but judges and Pie Contest Committee members.
- Minimum of three judges
- Criteria – Each pie will be judged on the following, out of 95 possible points
- Overall Appearance – points 1-20
- Crust – Color, Texture, Doneness, Flavor – points 1-20
- Filling – Consistency, Doneness, Moistness, Flavor – points 1-20
- Flavor – overall flavor of pie - points 1-20
- Creativity – points 1-15
Scoring
- Each judge assigns a numerical value in each criteria category, without consultation with the other judges.
- The pie receiving the highest total numerical value is the winner. The Pie Contest Committee will tally the judging sheets.
- In the case of a tie, the judges will judge those specific pies again.
- The decision of the judges is final.
- Winners will be announced on stage, Sunday, July 21st.
- No pies will be served to the public after judging.
