Audit Committee (to assist the Board in discharging and performing the duties and responsibilities of the Board with respect to the external and internal auditing functions of the Organization. In assisting the Board in fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities related to the Organization’s financial reporting standards and practices.)
Finance Committee (to assist the Board in performing the duties of the Board with respect to the oversight of the management of the financial resources of the Organization. These resources include, but are not limited to: operating income and budgets; assets that may be liquidated, including property; and access to and use of debt instruments.)
Investment Committee (to assist the Board in performing the duties of the Board with respect to the investment assets of the Organization. The Investment Sub-Committee members are not actively performing investing activities, but providing the required supervision of investment managers/advisors in carrying out the Organization’s investment policies.)
DEI/RJ Committee (to lead efforts to increase diversity among the GSOFCT membership and create a strong culture of acceptance for all girls, volunteers, and staff members.)
Resource Development Committee (to lead the Board’s participation in the oversight of and strategic engagement of GSOFCT resource development, stewardship, and fund development efforts. This includes constant attention to the strength of the mission and its case for support, ensuring that there are adequate resources to carry out and sustain the delivery of the mission, assisting with strategic and operating plans for cultivating and soliciting the necessary private and public funds and other relevant support, ensuring that all council assets and resources, including but not limited to financial, property, reputational and relational, are used wisely. The Committee will partner with the staff to implement best practices for donor cultivation, stewardship and retention.
