SSA South Australia ASC and OZCOTS 2023 Registration Funding Application

SSA South Australia Branch is proud to announce that it is offering financial support to our members for the attendance to the 2023 Australian Statistical Conference (ASC) and Australian Conference on Teaching Statistics (OZCOTS), which will take place in Wollongong from the 10th to the 15th of December 2023.

Each member is eligible for up to $550 of total funding to cover the registration fee for both or either of the conference(s).
Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for access to funding, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

1) be a member of SSA South Australia (SA) at the time of application. (Membership is only $20 for students, please ask us about our free student membership offer!)

2) be a resident of South Australia or Northern Territories.

3) provide invoices/evidence of registration that the funding will be used to cover.

4) be an early career or student statistician (check here for definitition ) and presenting a poster or a talk at ASC/OZCOT2023.

5) register for the conference before July 31, 2023 the deadline for early-bird registration.

You will be asked to provide a brief description of the statistical event and the anticipated benefits to you, your statistical career or the statistical community. The applicant can upload a recent photograph (for promotional purposes, for example SSA newsletter).
Applications typically take 2 weeks to process.
