Tournament Conditions:
By submitting your entry, you agree to the following conditions:
All players MUST be born in the year 2005 or later.
1. The Tournament Committee in conjunction with the Referee will have the sole management of the tournament.
2. The tournament shall be held under laws and regulations of the ITTF and TTA.
3. The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entries into the tournament by any player, and if the Tournament Committee exercises this discretion, it will notify the player accordingly and refund any monies paid.
4. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason. In the event of insufficient entries for any grade, players may be placed in another event at the discretion of the Tournament Committee and the Referee.
5. The Tournament Committee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any player displaying acts of bad sportsmanship.
6. Under Section 5M of the Civil Liabilities Act 2002, Players, Spectators, Officials and all other visitors are advised that there is a risk of injury by attending this event. No claim shall be made against or recognized by E.L.I.T.E. Table Tennis Club (ELITE) or TTNSW should any person receive any injury in this event. ALL PLAYERS PARTICIPATE AT THEIR OWN RISKS.
7. No refunds will be allowed to players withdrawing during or prior to the tournament.
8. If any player enters into any event in which they are not eligible they will be disqualified, and their entry fee will be forfeited.
9. All matches will be best of five (5) advantage games up to 11 points.
10. Late entries or entries without the correct fee will be accepted on the condition that there are vacancies in the event and the entry form is completed and monies paid (including any late entry fee as specified on the entry form) on arrival and prior to commencement of play. The Tournament Committee reserves its rights to accept any late entries or entry with incorrect fee.
11. Late entry fee of $20 per event (if entry is accepted by the Tournament Committee or the Referee) applies if entry is submitted after the Entry Close Date.
12. In the case of doubles events, a player being unavailable on the day may be replaced subject to the approval of the Tournament Committee and the Referee.
13. Persons attending the tournament are responsibility for their personal belongings. No claim for any loss or damage shall be made against E.L.I.T.E. Table Tennis Club.
14. All players should report and register at Tournament Control Desk at least 15 minutes prior to commencement of their first scheduled event.
15. Players failing to report to the Tournament Control Desk when called upon to play may be disqualified.
16. Players MUST umpire a match or self-umpire at the direction of the Tournament Committee or the Referee.
17. The participants of a group MUST ensure the match card(s) is correctly completed and returned to the control desk with the ball(s), in a timely manner. The winner of each match (knockout) MUST ensure the match card is correctly completed and returned to the control desk with the ball, in a timely manner.
18. Participants may be videoed or photographed by ELITE social media Team. These videos / photographs may be used on Social Media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Participants release all rights, or rights held by their agents or sponsors, in all matters relating to television and web casting coverage, video and motion picture coverage and photographic coverage of any kind to ELITE.
19. Participants may video their own matches subject to their opponent(s) not objecting. Participants may not video matches in which they are not participating.
20. It is the responsibility of the entrant to declare any illness or disability which may require medical attention.
21. ITTF Rules regarding rackets will be enforced.
22. No gluing or re-gluing of rackets is permitted inside the playing venue. Only ITTF approved glue may be used by the players.
23. ITTF approved Kinson 3 star white balls (40+mm) or equivalent will be used for the tournament.
24. Changes to Entries will be via E-mail. Change requests need to be e-mailed to the Tournament Referee (winglee.steven@gmail.com).
25. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to grade the players and its decisions shall be final. No claim shall be made by any player in relation to the decisions.
26. Player's Rating Central rating must be below the rating shown on the Entry form to enter the event. In the case of Doubles Events, the combined rating of both players shall not exceed the maximum combined rating for that event. The rating will be "as of" the "Draw Date" which will be after the Entry Close Date.
27. All players MUST be registered with TTNSW at the minimum Social Level. TTNSW registration link: https://www.ttnsw.org.au/registration. Players may be required to show their registration status prior to the date of the tournament.
