This is an application form for community members requesting emergency funds from The Center Project (TCP). The purpose of the Emergency Fund is to assist members of the Mid-Missouri LGBTQIA+ community in crisis situations.
Emergency Fund Guidelines:
Funding is available for needs in the following categories:
- Housing
- Transportation
- Medical
- Basic Needs (food/supplies)
- Other
Amounts may vary and will be approved on an individual basis. The maximum amount an applicant can request is $500. Applicants can receive aid from the Emergency Fund a maximum of once per calendar year per household.
The Emergency Fund is not a financial source to alleviate debts owed.
Upon receiving the application, the Advisory Committee will review the request against the program guidelines and respond within 5 business days, depending on the urgency of the request.
Please note, that our Emergency Fund is only available to residents who reside within the Mid-Missouri region.
As a courtesy reminder to applicants, The Center Project is a completely volunteer-run organization and not "in-office" during a standard business hour setting. All applications are reviewed by a volunteer board that is not associated with our Board of Directors at The Center Project. It is inappropriate for any applicant to directly message TCP Board Members in an attempt to receive expedited responses. Any additional communications outside of the regular responses from the Emergency Fund Advisory Board will delay your request so please limit your communications to allow our volunteers the appropriate timeline to evaluate your request.
