We are so excited to attend our 7th Junior Theatre Festival this January!
What is JTF?
JTF is the largest celebration of youth theatre in the world!
What are the age ranges?
We will take a group of 3rd-12th grade students
What happens at JTF?
Students present a 15-minute Broadway JR (or one-act) show to be adjudicated by Broadway professionals and musical theatre experts and attend workshops and star-studded concerts.
General Info:
- The Company is a half-year (July-January) commitment for those in 3rd-12th Grade
- Rehearsals and events begin in July/August 2023
- Travel Dates
- JTF Atlanta - January 10-15, 2024
- Performance Dates
- Full Show Dates: TBA. It will be announced when a full team is formed.
This year we will be performing the full version of the musical we will be taking to JTF, that show is Disney’s Descendants: The Musical.
Company Requirements
- All rehearsals are required
- Not miss more than 5 rehearsals
- Any more than that may result in dismissal from company
- All January rehearsals will be required.
- Please note that it is the actor's responsibility to learn any material missed if absent from rehearsal
- Rehearsals will take place on TUESDAYS beginning in September.
- Rehearsals for 2023-2024 will take place on weekday afternoons/evenings, and Saturday mornings, and extra rehearsals may be added closer to travel datesAll conflicts MUST be submitted 72 hours BEFORE a rehearsal
- Participation in each show is not required.
- Company Contracts must be signed by the parent and student

Chaperone Cost: $770

All payments will be posted on DanceStudio-PRO (DSP) by the 25th of each month — payments must be made by the 1st of each month. Late payments will incur a late fee.

There will be fundraising opportunities to help with costs of company.

AUDITION INFORMATION & IMPORTANT DATES:
Audition Video Due by June 16, 2023 by 11:59pm

Company Bootcamp - Tentative
Date: August 16-20 & 24-27 [REQUIRED]
August 16-18 & 24-25: 5:30pm-8:00pm
August 19 & 26: 10:30am-3:30pm
August 20 & 27: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Rehearsals
- Weekly rehearsals will begin in September.
- Rehearsals will take place from 5:30pm-7:30pm at first and will last until 8:30 closer to JTF
- We do not plan on adding in Saturday rehearsals unless absolutely necessary and will be added in advance.
- Rehearsals will become more frequent in December and January
- Rehearsal schedules will be sent out a month prior (EX: September will be available by August 1)
- The full show schedule will be available once we receive all conflicts and a team roster.
- The full show will run for three days to the public and will include full costumes & lighting.
Audition Requirements:
Auditions will be via VIDEO and due on June 16
Song Requirements
- One MODERN musical theatre song
- 32 bars or 60 Seconds
- Must sing with a track (no vocals on track - instrumental only)
The video must also include an intro with your name, age, school, and why you want to be part of The PACT's Elite Company.
Age Requirements
- Must be in 3rd grade
- Can not be older than a high school senior
