  • 2023 Worlds of Fun (June 19th)

    Worlds of Fun all day Wednesday, June 19th. Come Join us for the fun! Deadline is June 12th.

     

    This is a high school only trip. If you are going into freshman year in high school, you can go! You must have a medical form on file.

     

    Cost: $60: This covers entry into the parks, one meal ticket, and all day drink pass!

  • 2023-2024 Kids Club Sign-up

     

    Overview

    Kids Club is an after school program for kids in grades 3rd-5th. Kids will be picked up from either West Elementary, or St. George.

     

    Participation in program is contingent upon having enough driving volunteers to get students from school to Cross Point Church. Parents are to pick up kids at 5pm.

  • 2025 Cross Conference Sign-up

  • 2025 Guys Trip Sign-Up (June 27-29)

    Form must be submitted by June 9, 2024

     

    Overview

    We will be traveling down to western Kansas and staying in a hunting lodge.

     

    Note to parents: We will be using firearms. We have a morning of clay shooting. We will have a gun safety session before anyone shoots. The set up is arranged for ultimate safety. If you have any questions about this please let us know. We have done this trip for numerous years in the past and we are now bringing it back after Covid.

     

    This is a high school only trip. If you are a guy going into freshman year in high school, you can go!

     

    Cost: $50: This covers most of the trip. It does NOT cover: Meals down and back (Supper Friday June 14, and supper on Sunday June 16th).

      

    Itinerary:

    • June 27th at 5:30pm: Leave Wamego
    • June 28: Outdoor activities
    • June 29 at 10:30a.m.: Church
    • June 29 after lunch: Swimming in Great Bend
    • June 29 evening: Drive home, TBD

  • 2023 Girls Trip Sign-Up (August 4th-6th)

    Overview

    We will be traveling to Branson, MO and staying in a condo.

     

    This trip is intended for the girsl to grow cloer to God and closer to each other by having fellowship with each other.

     

    Note to parents: We are planning on going to Branson Landing  as one of our stops. Here we will let the girls shop on thier own if they would like. Basic rules will be followed, including always being in a group of three or more, each girl will have a sponsor's phone number in their phone, and hourly check-ins will be in place.

     

    This is a high school only trip. If you are a girl going into freshman year in high school, you can go!

     

    Cost: $50: This covers most of the trip. It does NOT cover: Meals down and back (Supper Friday August 4th, and lunch on Sunday August 6th).

      

    Itinerary:

    • August 4th at 1:00 p.m.: Leave Wamego
    • August 4th at 6:30 p.m.: Branson Landing
    • August 4th at 10:00 p.m.: Vintage Paris
    • August 5th: Lake/Hike, or Pool Day

  • 2025 Arlington Sign-up (July 19-26)

    Form must be submitted by June 16, 2025

     

    Overview

    This is a mission trip that we have been on for over 28 years! If you go on any trip this year, this should be it! We will be heading to the metroplex of Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington TX. We will be working with Mission Arlington, a great organization that has been helping in the area for almost 40 years. See more info on thier website!

     

    This is a high school only trip. If you are going into freshman year in high school, you can go!

     

    Cost: $240: This covers most of the trip. It does NOT cover: Meals down and back (lunch and supper on the 22nd, and breakfast and lunch on the 29th), Friday lunch, and other spending money, as we go to the mall on Friday. 

     

    Itinerary:

    • July 13th at 7 p.m.: Training day at the church
    • July 19, at 7:30 a.m. : Departure
    • July 19: Lunch and supper youth responsibility
    • July 20: At the mission Helping
    • July 21-24: Service project and VBS
    • July 25: Thirft store and mall
    • July 25: TBD evening plans
    • July 26: Leave to come home in the morning
    • July 26: Return sometime in the evening

  • 2025 Survivor Sign-up (August 5-8)

    Form must be submitted by June 26, 2024

     

    Overview

    You are invited to register for the survival adventure of the summer!

     

    Survivors will be divided into tribes that will work together to build their camp and then spend two days competing in Bible based reward challenges. Tribe members will participate inindividual as well as group devotions each morning. Tribal Council will be held each night and the final morning, with prayer, worship, and messages. Tribes will have to survive with no showers, primitive sleeping conditions, minimal food, and only the clothes on their backs.

     

    This is a high school only trip. If you are going into freshman year in high school, you can go!

     

    Students will be chaperoned in their camps. Separate sleeping areas for guys & gals will be enforced. 

     

    NOTE: All electronics will be collected as we get off the bus, and given back at the end of the experience getting back on the bus.

     

    Cost: $80 (scholarships and multiple child discount available). Students receive a T-shirt, devotional journal, and tribe buff.

     

    When:

    • Briefing party: Sunday July 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the church!
    • Departure: Tuesday, August 5, at 5:00 p.m. 
    • Return: Friday August 8, around 2:00 p.m.

    Students should bring the following:

    • Wear athletic clothes each day
    • Bible and pen
    • Water bottle
    • Bug spray and sunscreen
    • Sleeping bag
    • Athletic shoes and water shoes
    • Swimsuit
    • Set of warm clothes to layer up with
    • Small toiletry bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and brush
    • Pack a small separate backpack with a change of clothes for the final morning (See rules on modesty)
  • Rules

    All activities are first and foremost, meant to glorify God. These rules are not in place to spoil your fun, but for your protection. We care about each person and want them to have a good time.

    1. Electronic devices are to be used with integrity and respect. If for any reason, sponsors on our trips deem it necessary to detain a device, they have the right to do so. It will be returned when deemed necessary.
    2. Any person on a trip will return with the group unless that person;s parents have personally spoken to the pastor about other arrangements.
    3. There will be no showing of affection between any persons alowed. Please adhere to this, we don't enjoy calling you on this, but we will.
    4. Respect everyone in authority.
    5. All clothing must be modest. No short shorts, no short skirts. The definition of short shorts or skirts should be fingertip length. Sleeved shirts only, no spaghetti straps, halter tops, or belly shirts allowed. All swim suits for the ladies must be a one peice or you will need to wear a colored tee shirt at all times. Guys must wear shirts at all times. No yoga pants. Again, we do not like calling you on this, but we will.
    6. No alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs allowed.
    7. Any dating couples on the bus or van are not allowed to sit by each other.
    8. No guys allowed in the gals sleeping areas, and no gals allowed in the guys sleeping areas.
  • Medical Release Form

    You must have a medical form on file to participate. If you already have a med form on file for 2023 proceed to sign and return this form to solidify your place to go on this trip. Remember if anything has changed medically since you filled out your 2023 medical form you are responsible for letting us know.
