Thank you for inquiring about my microblading services!
After reading through this please sign that you have read and understand everything. Also fill out the information needed to get the consultation started.
We can also discuss available dates for an appointment, or any questions you may have!
It is my belief that microblading is the most natural option to enhance lost or sparse brow hairs for a more youthful, natural and make-up free look.
The ideal candidate for this are people with normal to dry skin that is not severely sensitive, with fine or normal hair texture and with no previous microblading done.
Clients with extremely oily skin, denser hair, or previous microblading may still benefit from microblading but a consultation will be required to determine that.
If microblading is not for you I also offer microshading or ombré brows.
This is the gentle application of pigment under the skin to look like powdered make up that blends into the brown hair. This also blends easier into dense hair, holds up longer on oily skin, and is better at covering or correcting previous microblading work.
The cost for either service is $650.
That includes a virtual consultation through email.
A follow up appointment is highly encouraged 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment. The follow up appointment is a very important part of the process as it allows us to fine tune the first procedure by adding more density, darkening any spots that may have faded too much, etc. There is a fee of $50 for the follow up appointment.
Pigment sits differently in everyone’s skin but you can expect the first process will always fade and shrink between 40-60%. The second procedure will also help to make sure your new brows last as long as possible.
I also believe that less is more and I always prefer to start off as natural as possible as not to overwhelm the client (you) with too drastic of a change. The second appointment will also allow us to go darker or thicker if you decided you would like more definition.
It is the clients responsibility to schedule a follow up appointment between 4-6 weeks from the initial appointment.
There will be a charge for clients that do not come back for their complementary touchup within that timeframe.
Clients are encouraged to continue with annual maintenance over the years due to normal fading.
What to know before your appointment:
•You must inform me if you have any previous microblading or permanent tattooing done to your brows prior to your appointment. I will have to see the old work to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for my service. If you fail to let me know and we cannot preform the service at the time of your appointment, you will not receive your deposit back.
•Tanning is not encouraged for at least one week before the appointment and a month after the appointment. Overly tanned skin may not retain pigment as well as normal skin and the sun can be damaging to healing brows.
•No facials/ chemical peels or excessive exfoliating two week before and at least a month after the procedure. Once brown are healed it is always recommended to avoid these treatments on your microbladed eyebrows.
•No Botox at least two weeks before.
•Waxing/tweezing/or any hair removal methods should be avoided at least one week before. (Only if you encounter sensitivity with these procedures) And for a month after.
•If you are on any medications or have any underlying conditions that may cause you to have issues with thinning blood or otherwise interfere with the procedure (cause issues with blood clotting etc.) consult with your doctor before the procedure.
It is also your responsibility to let me know before your appointment as issues like this may effect the retention of the pigment used during the procedure which may effect us achieving ideal results.
•Avoid taking any over the counter medications or supplements 48 hours before the procedure that may cause blood thinning (pain meds, fish oil, vitamin E, etc.)
•Avoid large amounts of caffeine the day of the procedure as it may cause extra sensitivity and bleeding.
•No alcohol consumption 48 hours before procedure, but feel free to enjoy as much as you’d like after!
•Pregnant women are not good candidates for microblading.
•Nursing mothers should consult with their doctor before scheduling.
•People with extremely oily skin can get microblading done but should understand that there is a risk for quicker fading and poor pigment retention. Ask me about microshading as an alternative!
Numbing/pain management:
•Secondary numbing is an optional step offered to all clients as long as there is no personal history of allergies or issues with lidocaine.
• The numbing gel I use does help a great deal, although it is a secondary numbing agent meaning it is only used after the first pass.
The first pass is similar to the outline of a tattoo and takes about 2 minutes.
After the skin is open, I apply the secondary gel and it should remain numb for the remainder of the procedure.
•For clients nervous about the pain of the first pass, I can recommended an affordable cream for you to purchase yourself before your appointment if you wish to numb first.
This cream, although it works well, ideally needs to be applied 90 minutes before microblading in order to work and unfortunately we do not have time to numb each client for that long before each procedure.
Scheduling, deposit and cancellation policies:
•ALL appointments require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of scheduling. Your appointment will not be saved until the deposit is received.
•24 hour confirmation is also required (I will reach out to you to confirm.)
•If you wish to cancel your appointment, 24 hour notice is required and your deposit can be rolled over into the rescheduled date. If you do not cancel or reschedule before the 24 hour mark or you “no call/no show” a second deposit of $50 will be required to reschedule.
•If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment it will be canceled and you will need to contact me to reschedule.
Please know that I understand things happen but being any later than 15 minutes will likely effect my ability to be punctual with the client scheduled after you which is why the appointment will be canceled.
Your deposit will still be good towards one late appointment. If it happens a second time a $50 fee will be required to reschedule.
•If you are sick or have any current ailments that may compromise your immune system I will not preform the procedure until you are better. If you have already scheduled and become sick, it is your responsibility to contact me to let me know and your appointment will be rescheduled. Your body does not heal as well when it is already fighting something else and it is crucial that your body is in good health so your microblading heals well. I also prefer not to work on sick clients because if I become sick I cannot work for sanitary reasons and I will have to reschedule all other clients until I am well.
•Follow up appointments made within the 4-6 week time frame do not require a deposit. If you miss your first top up appointment for any reason without 24 hour notice a $50 charge will be required to schedule again.
•Any top up appointment not made within 4-6 weeks of the first appointment will be subject to an additional charge.
All deposits are non-refundable. This pertains to any deposit made, whether you pay the $50 minimum or more.
I only accept Zelle as a form of electronic payment for deposit.
Cash or zelle are the only forms of payment accepted at time of appointment for remaining balance.
Credit cards are NOT accepted.
