Your program will need access to behavior support for children with persistent challenging behavior through an internal person on your team, infant/early childhood mental health consultant or other individuals with behavior expertise. The behavior specialist attends the monthly leadership team meetings and guides teams of adults to problem solve and design interventions for children who need them. There is training available through the Wisconsin Pyramid Model for behavior specialists but it is not recommended within the first year of implementation.
If there is a staff member or someone you within your community that you have a relationship with who you believe can serve as an external coach, please list their information below. If you are unsure who will fill this role, you may leave the fields below blank and Wisconsin Pyramid Model and your external/program coach will work with you to identify a behavior specialist.
