  • Cooking, eating and shopping

  • Food waste

This section is about food waste. The results will be anonymised and used to help us understand how to tackle food waste at home. Please be as honest as possible in your answers and remember, some food waste is inevitable. When we refer to edible food waste, we mean food that you planned to eat, but that went in the bin instead.

Please include milk and fruit juices. Please don’t include items that you wouldn’t usually eat, for example onion skins, egg shells or avocado stones. If it’s just a tiny scraping of a bean or a speck of spaghetti, don’t worry about including this in your answers.Ā

  • Meat and plant-based foods

This section is about meat, meat products and plant-basedĀ products and ingredients. The results will be anonymised and used to help us understand how to support people to eat less meat, and/or more protein from plants. Please be as honest as possible in your answers.Ā

When we use the phrase ā€˜plant-based’ this means free of meat, fish and dairy products.

When we use the phrase ā€˜meat’ this means any meat including chicken, sausages, bacon, ham, beef, lamb etc. but excluding dairy, dairy products, eggs, egg products, fish and fish products.
