SPJ Code of Conduct Feedback Form
The Society of Professional Journalists is preparing a Code of Conduct for its members to foster a friendly, safe and welcoming culture. At the direction of the SPJ board, a seven-member task force plans to have standards for expected behavior in place by the annual convention in Las Vegas on Sept. 28. Please submit your answers by June 16. Please note: a Code of Conduct is separate from the SPJ Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics is a set of principles used in the practice of journalism by people in all media. A Code of Conduct would guide accepted behavior of members while representing SPJ and attending SPJ events. It is strongly suggested you review the codes of conduct of other organizations linked in the email before submitting your input.
