  • VOLUNTEER SERVICE RELEASE

    As a volunteer, I understand the scope of my relationship with NOF is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services. NOF will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment. I am responsible for my own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury or illness as a result of my service to NOF.

    Waiver and Release: I release and forever discharge, covenant not to sue, exculpate and hold harmless NOF and its volunteers, employees, agents, officers and directors, and all of their successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from my activities in volunteering to assist NOF and in providing services to NOF. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges NOF from any liability or claim that I may have against NOF with respect to bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from or occur while I am providing volunteer services, excluding only the gross negligence and purposeful misconduct of NOF or the parties otherwise exculpated. 

    Assumption of Risk: I understand that the services I provide NOF may include activities that may be hazardous to me, including but not limited to risks involved with international travel, including exposure to communicable diseases, such as the COVID-19 virus. Despite the risks, I am knowingly and voluntarily participating with an express understanding of the risks involved. I accept and assume all risk of injury and property damage that may result.

    Consent: I authorize NOF the use of my image(s), that I have supplied or that of NOF's property, as a photograph/video in NOF website, social media accounts, newsletter, NOF printed materials, and in any other marketing material. I hereby release NOF from any and all liability that may arise from the release of image. I understand that I have the right to revoke this consent at any time in writing. I understand that the image that is being used for any purposes stated above is the property of NOF.
