This clinic is designed for anyone looking to build their relationship with their horse. Ivy Starnes has over 20 years of experience using clicker training and has completed extensive education under established positive reinforcement trainers. She applies this method to help horses develop good manners around food and to teach liberty work and tricks. Ivy also uses clicker training to support horses under saddle and to address common challenges such as head shyness and hoof handling. She has presented numerous liberty and trick demonstrations with her horses. Clinic is limited to 10 people.
Clinic Format
- 1 hour of discussion covering the basics of clicker training and positive reinforcement
- 1 hour working with the first group of horses
- 1 hour working with the second group of horses
- Lunch break
- 1 hour with the first group of horses
- 1 hour with the second group of horses
