    This open call is for the BIPOC, AAPI and LGBTQIA+ communities only.  We are dedicating this exhibition to showcase and celebrate the work that embodies all that you are as artists.

    We want to see your personal favorites within your collection. Feel free to include the back story, or why you chose them in your description. We have found that including the description with the work helps people connect to the artist and the piece. 

    Acceptance will be based solely on how the art can be curated. Anyone not accepted into this show will be saved as artists to reach out to for later dates.

    To increase accessibility and acknowledge the wealth gap between marginalized communities, the submission fee has been reduced to $20. 

    • Installation pitches will be accepted. One installation pitch per form.
    • Eclipse is a family friendly space, so while partial nudity is ok, art with overtly sexual imagery and full frontal nudity is not.
    • All 2d or 3d work must be under 48" on any side.
    • Photos of submitted work must be print quality (300dpi), you may include 2 photos per submission.
    • If your piece is framed include one photo that shows the current frame.
    • All Artwork must be properly framed and wired, in gallery ready condition and ready to hang.
    • Wrapped canvas does not need to be framed but must be wired and finished on all edges.
    • Unusual display requirements must be discussed with the gallerist in advance with appropriate supplies provided by the artist.
    • You may attach up to four works or one installation pitch per submission.

    Dates of note:

    • Submissions accepted through April 24.
    • Notification of acceptance status will be sent by April 26.
    • Art Drop off Friday May 1, Saturday, May 2. 
    • Art Pick Up Friday June 26 & Tuesday June 30

    Submission fee for art and poetry is $20

    If you wish to send in MORE than FOUR works, or more than one installation pitch, you may complete another submission form.

  • You may submit up to 4 poems.

    Submission information:

    • Poem must fit on one letter sized sheet of paper, printed in a 12 pt font with a minimum line height of 1.5 and a 1" margin.
    • You may submit up to 4 poems. We will print them, frame them and hang them for sale for $30 each and will reprint as many as needed, so your poem(s) could sell more than once.
    • You will receive 60% of the sale. We cover the printing, framing, processing fees and sales tax from our portion.
    • Poets whose work is selected are also invited to bring their book(s) to sell in the boutique. The same standard gallery commission rate of 60/40 - in favor of the author - will apply as described above.
    • Poets who are accepted to the show will be invited to read at the opening reception.
