RULES:
1: ENTRY PROCEDURE: To enter the talent competition, you must complete this entry form and submit it to KGAS Radio no later than August 1, 2025. The compeition will be held on Satruday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Sign in is 9:00-9:30 AM. NO ENTRY FORMS OR MUSIC CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE!
2: ADMISSION: THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ADMISSION
3: DISPUTES: The ranking radio station official is authorized to resolve all disputes including disqualification of any contestant for failure to comply with the rules and regulations; including errors and omissions. Hanszen Broadcasting Inc.'s decisions are final.
4: PERFORMANCE:
a) Open to solo performers or duets only. Each individual or duet must perform live, vocally, and/or instrumentally. No special lighting, props, or special effects may be used.
b) No backup band will be provided. Contestants may play an instrument or perform to a soundtrack. A copy of the soundtrack should be submitted with this entry form or by email to and apar@kgasradio.com. SOUNDTRACKS MUST BE SUBMITTED AS AN MP3.
c) Performances will be judged in each of the following categories: 1) Marketability 2) Vocal/Instrumental ability 3)Stage Presence/Charisma 4) Talent. No extra/bonus points will be considered for performing an original (any piece written or co-written) by a contestant.
d) In the event of a tie-breaker, the first tie-breaker shall be the highest number of points in the Talent category, followed by Marketability. The final tie-breaker will be a secret vote cast by the judges based on overall performance.
e) IMPORTANT: Please provide a brief introduction about yourself. The information you provide will be read by the standing Emcee as you make your appearance on stage.
