Terms and Conditions
If selected, I agree to fully participate in the US Indo-Pacific Strategy program sponsored by the East-West Center and the U.S. Department of State in its entirety from March 2023 to April 2023.
In so doing so, I will be responsive to communications with and directives from the East-West Center, my Facilitator, and the U.S. Department of State through the duration of the program. As a participant in this program, in good faith, I will attend each session and closely review and follow the guidelines and procedures outlined on the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy website.
In addition, an individual accepting an invitation to participate in an East-West Center program accepts a role of active international involvement in the East-West Center mandate of promoting better relations and understanding among the nations and people of Asia, the Pacific area, and the United States. Each participant is expected to help evaluate his or her involvement in the East-West Center program.
Once active EWC participation has ended, your participant information may be used in various annual reports, as well as made available to the EWC Foundation and Office of Alumni Engagement as part of EWC communications and outreach to alumni of EWC programs.
All participants are expected to review and adhere to the East-West Center’s Participant Policies (ewcparticipantinfo.org/participant-policies/), including the Participant Code of Conduct and Online Code of Conduct, Sexual Misconduct Policies (eastwestcenter.org/title-ix), and any other program standards, regulations, and expectations set by the East-West Center. Failure to follow these policies may result in dismissal from the program.
