SCHEDULE a) Lessons/Classes are held at the Kx2 Music Studio or Online. b) Where the Student is under the age of 18, scheduling must be communicated between the Teacher and the Parent/Guardian. c) Lessons/Classes are recurring weekly, unless otherwise noted. d) If at any point you decide to permanently change your lesson slot, you must give at least two weeks advance notice. Once you forfeit your time slot, it becomes available to others, and there is no guarantee you will regain the same slot. TUITION a) Tuition must be paid before the first lesson/class. The student will not be allowed to attend the lesson/class if payment is not complete. b) Payment methods accepted include Zelle or Card (4% tax). c) Tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Lessons purchased must be used within 6 months. d) Lesson fees are subject to annual review. e) Class tuition is not prorated based on attendance. CANCELLATION a) Lessons: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. Lessons cancelled with appropriate notice will be rescheduled. c) Any time missed by the Student (i.e., lateness) is not required to be made up by the Teacher. d) In the case of an emergency, the lesson/class will be held online or rescheduled at the Teacher's discretion. e) To maintain a healthy environment, students exhibiting symptoms of illness should not attend in-person lessons/classes. GENERAL a) The Teacher must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student. b) The Student/Parent/Guardian is responsible for any damage incurred by the Student to an instrument, accessory, or music owned by Kx2 Music. c) The Parent/Guardian gives permission for the Student to be in agreed class location and scheduled time. Parents are responsible for the student before and after class. d) Students are required to bring a folder or binder and their individual instrument (if applicable) to every lesson/class. PHOTO RELEASE a) Photos/Videos may be taken at Showcases, Recitals, Summer Camps, or other various performances, and shared on the official Kx2 Music website and/or instagram.
