Vetting Checks

Within Irish Methodism, every Youth & Children's Leader needs to be re-vetted by the Methodist Church in Ireland at least once every three years, regardless of having been checked by or through other organisations. Please note, that for GB/BB Officers, if you are volunteering for any other Youth & Children's activity within Irish Methodism, you will be required to complete a vetting check through the Methodist Church in Ireland.

Please contact your Designated Person or Minister as soon as possible to request a vetting pack. While you are, of course, welcome to attend this training, having a valid vetting check in place is a legal requirement, and therefore must be completed before any work or volunteering starts.
