Description

Administrative = includes any board meetings, general membership luncheons or evening group meetings, computer work, emails, phone calls, etc. relating to GKWC matters.
Community Service GKWC = includes all the Community Service activities which GKWC sponsors (i.e., Reading buddies, Mentoring, Taste of Northeast, Holiday House for Community Storehouse, Heritage House events, Christmas tree decorating for Fire Stations & Police Station). Travel time to and from any activity may also be included as part of the volunteer hours.
Community Service Other = includes the personal hours you volunteer in activities outside of GKWC (i.e., church, homeowners’ associations, PTA Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts, or other clubs or associations in which your hours are not recorded). Travel time to and from any activity may also be included as part of the volunteer hours.
Fundraising = includes any fundraising activity for the GKWC (i.e., Races at the Texas Motor Speedway, Good Guys Hot Rod event, Oktoberfest, or other events in which GKWC receives compensation for the hours our members work).
Garden of Roses = includes any hours spent working or volunteering for the fashion show, including the day of the event. Volunteering for the Garden of Roses Committee, soliciting sponsorships or donations from businesses for the fashion show, computer work, e-mails, phone calls and other hours associated with the planning or facilitating of the fashion show should be recorded in this category. Mileage to and from any activity relating to the fashion show may also be tracked and used as a deduction on your federal income tax return.
Friends and Family = includes any hours spent by family and friends volunteering for a club activity (i.e., Donation Station, Trash collection, Stone Soup). Names and time spent need to be included.
Foundation - includes Foundation meetings, work, etc.
