Open Call Auditions 2023/2024
Rorschach's 2023/2024 season will include three full productions, performing in October/November 2023, March/April 2024, and July 2024. There will also be a variety of opportunities throughout the season for readings and small projects - including Klecksography and our Magic in Rough Spaces new play lab. Additionally, with the actor’s permission, we will share application materials with other DC-area theatres who are looking for similar talent. COVID Policies and Vaccination Requirement
At this time masks are optional for audience members, staff, and artists. All staff and artists have been vaccinated. Vaccination checks are not required for audience members. We will continue to monitor and follow guidelines and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and DC Health (DCH). Our COVID-19 Safety Practices & Policies are continually being refined to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable experience for everyone, and practices and plans will be updated as circumstances and guidelines change.Also, Rorschach requires all in-person staff and contractors to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Your Audition
We are accepting submissions through throughout the year but to be considered for our fall show, PLEASE SUBMIT BEFORE July 11, 2023. Your audition video must include all three elements listed below. We understand that not everyone has access to top-notch recording set-ups. Do your best to ensure that you are well-lit and that we can hear your audio, but don't let the self-tape component stress you out. (Rorschach is not hiring AEA actors at this time. If you are AEA and wish to submit your info to our files for future use you may do so below.)
