Student Illness Return Policy

If a student is sent home or absent due to illness with symptoms of vomitting, diahhrea, or fever (100.4 degrees or higher), they may not return to school until they have been vomit, diahhrea, or fever free for 24 hours.
Excused Absence Requirement

A health/dental care provider note is required to excuse absences for medical/dental appointments.

Doctor's notes should be emailed to healthoffice@axiscolorado.org.
Absences Greater than 72 Hours

A doctor's note is required to excuse absences of 72 hours (3 days) or more due to an extended illness or injury.
