Bitch owner agrees to:

1. Agreed payment due before the bitch is serviced of $2,000 for semen. (lock-in deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of signing this contract. Failing to meet this requirement will result in this contract becoming invalid)

2. Provide AKC pedigree of bitch to stud owner before servicing.

3. Agrees to provide stud dog owner statement from a licensed veterinarian no later than 70 days after mating if no pregnancy results from mating. Failure to do so will result in no return service.

4. Keep bitch properly confined following breeding to ensure no other dog could mate her accidentally before mating season is finished. If this is to happen, the owner of the bitch is to notify the stud owner immediately and is responsible financially to complete DNA on every puppy for parentage through AKC prior to the stud owner signing off on the litter. If only the other male produces the litter, a repeat breeding will not be granted in this case.

5. Agrees to not knowingly sell or transfer puppies whelped as a result of this mating to any person or firm connected with the business of resale or wholesale of dogs. The puppies may not be associated with brokers, pet stores, puppy mills or large caged kennel breeders.

6. If a stud fee is selected and the bitch does not take (gets pregnant), a onetime no charge return service will be granted (semen only). It must be the same bitch. The repeat is non-transferable regardless of the outcome of the bitch that was bred. No refunds, no exceptions. The repeat breeding must take place on the following heat of the same bitch. Reproductive services are additional. This is after the 70-day veterinarian documentation statement confirming no pregnancy was found. If the bitch does not become pregnant the second time no refunds nor additional free services will be granted to the same female. At this time, it is recommended the bitch owner takes the bitch to a reproductive vet specialist to address these concerns. The stud being used is proven. Without documentation a repeat no charge breeding cannot be granted.

7. Notify stud owner of first day of heat and the date of scheduled c-section. Pictures of bitch must be provided to stud owner prior to services being rendered.

8. Agree to provide stud owner with date of birth, number of puppies & picture of litter on day of birth/c-section. Registration will not be completed until the puppies are color tested and the stud owner makes their selection.

 

 

STUD OWNER AGREES TO:

1. Provide bitch owner with AKC stud registration number for confirmation.

2. Have stud dog in good physical condition.

3. Sign litter registration promptly and return to bitch owner.

4. Provide a return service to the same bitch (only) by the following heat if no pregnancy resulted from mating at no charge (semen only). Reproductive services are additional.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

1. To receive return service bitch owner must provide stud dog owner a verification statement from a licensed veterinarian that bitch failed to conceive no more than 70 days following mating. If the selected stud is no longer available for whatever reason for the return service the stud owner reserves the right to offer a different available stud to the bitch owner.

2. Two puppies constitute a litter. If only one puppy is born, a free repeat breeding (semen only) will be given to the same bitch on her next heat cycle if a stud fee was paid.

3. This contract is terminated if bitch fails to conceive on the return service.
4. The stud may be locked in for future breeding's at any time with a fee of $500. The fee is non-refundable should you change your mind on stud choice later. The fee places you on the priority list to use him. The remainder of the fee is due at the time of breeding prior to insemination. If the stud becomes unavailable for any reason prior to the first mating, the lock in fee will be transferred to another in-house available stud. The lock-in deposit must be used within one year of it being placed. After one year the lock-in fee will expire and the fee is lost and non-refundable.
5. Semen shipping is available. The cost of shipping is for supplies and the price of Fed Ex shipping next day. Roughly an additional $350 depending on the quickness option selected from the Fed Ex options given and destination. This is an average quote and not guaranteed. Due to COVID and the economy, prices have risen and continue to rise with FedEx next day shipping. Location is a big factor as well. The fee is not included in the stud fee and must be paid in full along with the stud fee prior to the shipment/collection if this option is desired. Semen is collected and packaged in house. Shipping days vary and must be arranged with appropriate timing. The stud owner is not held responsible if any shipping delays occur with Fed Ex, the condition of the shipping box or any other issues that may happen once the box leaves the stud owners hands. Only one shipping will be granted that will contain two tubes of semen from one collection. Or one concentrated tube if requested.
