**PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE ROOM PARENT INFO MEETING ON MONDAY, AUGUST 19 AT 7:45AM. ROLES WILL BE EMAILED OUT PRIOR TO THIS MEETING AND THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY ATTENDANCE FOR ALL ROOM PARENTS! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DONE YOUR VOLUNTEER TRAINING!

Classroom Liaison (1 per class)
Responsibilities include:
1. Classroom Liaisons will be the main contact with the teacher, as well as the primary contact for the parents in their classroom. They will assist the teacher doing things such as: implementing and organizing copy parents, classroom supply donation, etc., as well as communicate information from Room Parent Coordinators to their classroom parents in a timely and professional manner.
2. Classroom liaisons will also be working with gift coordinators on creating one raffle basket for their classroom for RNE Foundation events (either Family Fun Night or Soiree). These two volunteers will communicate with the class on the theme, collect items from class parents, assemble and deliver the basket.
Classroom Gift Coordinator (1 per class)
1. Gift Coordinators will be responsible for purchasing, wrapping and delivering all birthday (or half birthday), winter/holiday, and end of year gifts for their classroom teacher (and classroom assistants). They will communicate with their classroom parents on when these events are being celebrated for their class with a photo of the gift being given.
Note: The individuals in this role will personally purchase the gifts and will submit all receipts to PTA for reimbursement. Reimbursement is timely, but not immediate. All reimbursement requests MUST be accompanied by proper receipts in order to receive reimbursement. PTA funds have been specifically collected for each grade to cover the costs of gifts and parties. Grade Level Coordinators agree to not collect additional items or funds via Venmo, Sign-Up Genius, Amazon Wish List, or any other means without first consulting the PTA.
2. Classroom gift coordinators will also be working with class liaisons on creating one raffle basket for their classroom for RNE Foundation events (either Family Fun Night or Soiree, determined based on grade level). These two volunteers will communicate with the class on the theme, collect items from class parents, assemble and deliver the basket.
Grade Level Party Coordinators (3-4 per grade)- This commitee of volunteers will plan the Winter Celebration party and the End of Year party for the entire grade level. They will work in connection with the grade level lead teachers to choose activities that are age appropriate, inclusive and manageable. They may request additional parent volunteer assistance via Sign-Up Genius if after discussion with the teachers a need is determined.

In addition to the above Room Parent Roles, the PTA is seeking interested candidates for the following Chair and Co-Chair positions.

Reflections Chair: Handles all aspects of the PTA Reflections contest, including all communications, documentation, and submissions from students
Literacy Arts/Media Center Chair: Works with Media Center to get specific literacy art initiatives scheduled and reimbursed
Hospitality Co-Chair: Arranges refreshments and any other needs for Katha Stuart meetings, Coffee with Conway event, Popsicles with the Principal, etc.
International Night Co-Chair: Organizes all aspects including participants, prizes, communications, etc.
School Supplies Co-Chair: Supports and organizes ordering, assisting with delivery and unloading school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Spirit Wear Co-Chair: Works with Co-Presidents to design spirit wear, order via our vendor, and set pricing. Maintains the Spirit Wear inventory, works with MTK chair to setup Spirit Wear online store; leads volunteers at Teacher Breakfast and Open House in selling SW. Maintains records to anticipate amounts for future orders. Coordinates any sales throughout the year.
