Vetting Checks

Within Irish Methodism, every Youth & Children's Leader now needs to be re-vetted by the Methodist Church in Ireland at least once every three years, regardless of having been checked by or through other organisations. Please note, that for GB/BB Officers, if you are volunteering for any other Youth & Children's activity within Irish Methodism, you will be required to complete a vetting check through the Methodist Church in Ireland.)

Please contact your Designated Person or Minister as soon as possible to request a vetting pack. You are welcome to attend this training, but having a valid vetting check in place is a legal requirement
Which in-person Safeguarding Session would you like to attend?
I understand that I need to be in attendance for the full duration of the training, which will be at least 2 hours, 15 minutes.
Because of the time constraints on this session, I understand that if I am late for my chosen session, or if I leave early, that I may not be admitted, and will have to re-book at another time.
I understand that my data will be used to facilitate this booking. I understand that these details will be retained as per GDPR quidelines safely and securely by the Methodist Church in Ireland. Once training has been completed, these details will be passed to my church and retained as a record of my attendance.
I understand that this session is for leaders, and therefore it is inappropriate for under 16s to be in attendance. I will not bring anyone under the age of 16 to this session.
