FUSION Magazine invites emerging artists to submit work to be considered for the Spring 2026 issue of FUSION Magazine and on our social media channels and website at www.clayandglass.on.ca. You’ll work directly with the magazine editor to highlight your work and artistic journey. 

FUSION defines emerging artists as: 
Emerging artists may be formally trained or self-taught and are actively working toward presenting their work publicly through exhibitions, sales, commissions, residencies, teaching, or other professional opportunities.

They are beginning to gain visibility and recognition with a goal to have a presence in galleries, collections, or the broader art market.

Emerging status is not tied to age and is inclusive of artists at any stage in life who are newly establishing a professional practice.

Application Deadline: March 2, 2026
Eligibility: Applicants must be FUSION members
Notification: Successful applicants will be contacted by email by March 9, 2026.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Please submit an artist statement and/or biography that is no more than 700 words in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe PDF (.pdf) format. Please label file with your name and "Bio". Eg. DanSmithBio

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS and HOW TO LABEL YOUR IMAGE FILES

Submit 5 jpeg images, minimum size 4 x 6 inches, 300 dpi

Please submit high-quality JPEG images suitable for publication that are shot against a neutral or white background. 

Please save the image in the correct orientation.

Use the following file name format to name your files:

IMAGE #1: YOURFULLNAME_NAMEOFIMAGE1

IMAGE #2: YOURFULLNAME_NAMEOFIMAGE2

For example: JoeSmith_RainonGlass1

I warrant that the artworks submitted in this application are solely by myself as named on the application. I also authorize the use of images for publicity or documentation without notice or payment to me.
