There will be a Working Equitation Clinic with Judy Mackenzie and Dwayne Pike.
Clinic Cost: Adults $135, Youth (under 18) $80
Working Equitation Schooling Show - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November:
This is an Official AZWEC Schooling Show, to be held at Brownsville, Tonto Basin on Saturday/Sunday 11th/12th November 2023.
Levels 1 through 4 are offered.
Judge is the Hon. Summer Star. Show Manager is Judy Mackenzie
Show office will open at 8.00am, first ride will be at 9.00am
Entry fee for Adults is $90 for Level 1, $115 for Level 2-4
Entry Fee for Youth (under 18) is $70 for Level 1, $95 for Level 2-4
Optional Practice Speed Round for L1 Riders: $15
Cattle Trial - Sunday 12th November 2023:
The Cattle Trial will be run according to the Rules for Working Equitation. Open to riders competing in ANY Level in the Schooling Show, and also to riders not competing in the Show. Entries limited - priority will be given to those competing in the Schooling Shows.
Entry Fee for Optional Cattle Trial is $75 for Adults, $45 for Youth (under 18)
Overnight stalls are available, $20/night. You must bring your own feed/water buckets/shavings. Stalls must be cleaned by competitor.
Overnight dry camping available, $0/night
Overnight full hookups (depending on availability), $25/night
You will be sent a bill 3-4 days after receipt of your entry. Payment is due 14 days prior to Clinic. This show will be conducted and judged in accordance with the United States Rules for Working Equitation, Revision 6, dated 1st December 2022, and the 2023 Dressage Tests https://useawe.org/rules/. It is the responsibility of the competitor to read and understand the rules prior to the competition.
Hold Harmless Clause:
Understanding that horse sports may be hazardous and dangerous, even leading to permanent injury or death, each owner, rider, spectator, and other participant assumes any and all risk of loss or injury and agrees to hold harmless, regardless, the horse show personnel and the facility hosting the show. Judy Mackenzie, show management, volunteers and the Arizona Working Equitation Club will not be responsible for any damage, injury, or loss to person, horses, or property of exhibitors, spectators, or grooms. All local facility rules must be followed.
Media Release Agreement: I agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios or other likenessess of me and/or my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion or benefit of the competition or sport. These likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in any way to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or misappropriation.
