  • Modern Slavery Induction Checklist

  • Modern Slavery is a term used today to describe issues such as labour exploitation, forced labour, human trafficking and practices such as debt bondage, passport holding, and other such breaches of an individual’s basic human rights.

In 2015 the government released a new piece of legislation “Modern Slavery Act 2015” which now places an emphasis on companies to take responsibility in ensuring that there are no practices within their own organisations and includes the requirement to focus on their supply chains as well.

Hercules PLC does not tolerate labour exploitation on its sites or other projects.

Everyone working on Hercules PLC sites is required to provide evidence of identification including confirmation of address, passport, a valid contract of employment and details of the bank account where their wages will be paid.
