Who may enter?
Calling all Hay Bale Artists!! Any organized group such as Schools, Towns, Businesses, 4-H Clubs, FFA Chapters, Church Groups, Scouts, Families, ECT.
Registration/Entry Deadline:
If this registration form is still up, we are still taking registrations. If you are questioning, call the office at 910-564-6709. We are so excited to be able to be able to offer this fun team building project that if you contact us no later than October 1, 2023, I am sure we can get you in the contest.
Decoration Information - These hay bale works of art will represent your group and will be on display during our entire Fall Festival Season. Please make your group and everyone proud of your art work.
- Decoration & theme must be fall festive and/or agriculture related.
- No scary “Halloween” decorations.
- Bales can be placed lying on their side or standing on end.
- No advertising or political party signs of any kind are allowed.
- The bales must be decorated with a good clean family fun theme only.
- No vulgar or suggestive decorations allowed.
- Bales must be painted on
front and sides.
- Decorations should be weather and wind proof.
- No decorations may be removed till the completion of Hubb’s Farm Festival Season.
- Designs and application must be accepted by Hubb’s Farm.
Hay Bale & Decoration Timeline Information:
- Hay Bale provided by Hubb’s Farm. Up to 15 submissions will be accepted.
- Groups will provide their own decorating supplies.
- Hay Bale decorations must be completed by Sept. 22, 2023 by 7 PM.
- You may call and schedule a time to decorate a Hay Bale at Hubb’s Farm between Sept. 15 to Sept. 22 or you may decorate the bale at an another location and bring to the farm no later than Sept. 22, 2023.
- If you choose to decorate your bale at a different site, your group must provide transportation of the bale to and from farm.
Judging
Pictures will be posted on Hubb’s Farm FB Page the evening of Sept. 23. Judging will be determined by the NUMBER OF LIKES ON THE PICTURE posted and WINNER announcement will be on Oct. 31, 2023. This year the LIKES will go through October 30, 2023 at 6 PM.

Upon completion of hay bale and being approved by Hubb's Farm, organizations will receive up to 10 free tickets to Hubb’s Farm Fall Festival for 2023.
