Al Hadi Learning Organization is excited to announce that we will be holding swimming classes and open swim sessions at our new premises! Make a splash this summer and join our swimming classes!

Classes will take place at 15435 Good Hope Rd. in Silver Spring

Meet our swim instructor/lifeguard: My name is Tabby Dorr and I am super excited to work with all of you very soon! I am a Junior at Salisbury University, studying Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Medicine. I have been swimming since I was 10 years old where I began on a summer league and continued into high school. After graduating I became a lifeguard at a local pool where I taught swim lessons to children ages 3-10 and helped to build a swim team so they could enter the Montgomery County Swim League. In addition, this is my third year as a certified lifeguard and swim instructor, and I also have my certification as a Pool Operator so I am able to maintain our beautiful new property!

Childcare will be available for younger siblings or during open swim times but chaperones must be poolside during swimming classes. We kindly request female chaperones only to respect the open swim times in between classes and our instructor.

I, the signer of this form acting as parent/guardian of the swimmer or as the swimmer, wish/es to participate in Swim Lessons and/or other aquatic programs held at Al Hadi Learning Organization swimming pool(s) located at 15435 Good Hope Rd., Silver Spring, MD. I am aware that participation in the Activity is potentially hazardous and entails a risk of physical injury, death, or property damage. I understand and agree that I/my child am/is electing to participate at my/his/her own risk. I am not aware of any physical or medical condition that would interfere with my/my child’s ability to participate. IN CONSIDERATION OF MYSELF/MY CHILD BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITY, I HEREBY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE AL HADI SCHOOL INC., DBA AL HADI LEARNING ORGANIZATION AND ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS (“RELEASEES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH MY/MY CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY, EXCEPT WHERE THE SAME IS CAUSED BY THE WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES.
