As a child labor coordinator for On Location Education, the candidate will be responsible for the health, safety, and general well-being of minors who are performing in film and television projects. Experience working with children in some capacity is preferred. The candidate will need to keep track of all work time, including breaks that the minors take, potentially for multiple minors at one time. The candidate will need to be aware of and uphold the labor laws and union regulations that apply to the minors in the production. The candidate will need to be cognizant of hazardous working conditions, questionable scene content, and signs of minors' fatigue, and be comfortable communicating those concerns to the production in a constructive and professional manner. Finally, the candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment where there can be frequent changes to the schedule and lots of production people and equipment, creating a need for the candidate to be mentally flexible and physically agile.
