  • Brushing and Filling Instructions. Please initial to indicate your understanding and agreement.

When the interior is complete, the crew will begin filling your pool with your garden hose. The filling process usually takes about 24 to 48 hours for a standard pool. It is very important that you let the water run continuously, until it reaches about half-way up the skimmer. DO NOT STOP filling the water for any reason whatsoever during the filling process! If the water is stopped before it reaches the tile line, you will have a ring around the pool that cannot be removed. Once the pool is full, and if you have a spa, remove the hose and place it in the spa. Fill the spa in the same manner as the pool. Please contact your representative to let us know that your water is in and ready to start-up.

  • Start Up

Our start-up technician will be out to your residence to turn on the filter system within 48 hours of the pool being full of water. You do NOT have to be home for this. Your system will be on and running 24 hours a day for the next 5-7 days. It's okay to go swimming the day after, and as soon as the water clears up. After start-up we will contact you to schedule your "Pool School".

  • PLASTER / QUARTZ FINISHES: These are single day processes. Once the pool is full, begin brushing down the entire finish and continue to do so, twice a day, for at least 7-10 days, or until the dust is no longer present. You cannot brush too much.

  • *NOTE ON COLORED FINISHES: Colored plasters are NOT guaranteed for evenness of color and may not be the shade anticipated. The color is expected to have a mottled appearance (strong variation in color), and may become streaked, ‘blotchy' or cloudy, and will fade over time. Surface crazing (hairline or check cracks) may be quite noticeable with colored finishes. These are NOT a defect in materials.

  • PEBBLE / GLASS BEAD FINISHES: These are a two-step (2 day) process. On the first day the entire interior finish will be applied. It may look like a standard colored smooth finish. Another interior crew will return on the second day to acid wash and expose the aggregate interior. Once the pool is full, begin brushing the interior finish, and continue to do so at least twice a day, for 7 days.
