Welcome to the open call for Interpreters at Model European Union Strasbourg 2023!

 

You can now apply to MEUS 2023 as an Interpreter.

MEU Strasbourg 2023 will take place from November 25th to 30th in Strasbourg, France.

 

Applications are open from September 1st to September 25th.

You can only apply once. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and results will be sent out at the end of the application period.

 

The application form consists of three sections, and it takes about 20 minutes to fill in. You cannot save your progress, so we advise you to write the answers on a separate document and then add them here!

You can apply if:
- you are aged between 18 and 30 as of November 25th, 2023
- you are able to be present for the full duration of MEU Strasbourg 2023
- you are a student or graduate of interpreting
- you have at least some training in simultaneous interpreting, as it will be the main work mode in MEUS 2023
- you have English as your B language (interpreting from your A language) or
- you have English as your A language and have a very strong retour to interpret into another language

 

Participation fee: 215€ (200€ without accommodation)
The participation fee may be waived or reimbursed depending on special conditions that you may express in the application form.

The participation fee covers accommodation for 6 nights, lunches, coffee breaks, some dinners and social activities, and materials for the conference.
