HELLO!

Thank you for your interest in our public art program. The Art This Way program has been installing large-scale public artwork in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 2016. By filling out this RFQ, you are indicating your interest in being contacted regarding the Art This Way Art Crawl: Alley Bash event, which will be held on September 20, 2024 from 6:00PM - 10:00PM. The Art Crawl helps to support the public art program. Thank you!

ELIGIBILITY FOR ART THIS WAY ART CRAWL: ALLEY BASH
- Artist(s) must be 18 or older.
- Applicant must be able to participate in the Art Crawl (9/20/24), 6:00PM - 10:00PM.
- Applicant must be willing to demonstrate their craft during the Art Crawl.
- Participating artist(s) must be willing to sign an indemnification agreement, sign a hold harmless waiver, sign a contract with the Art This Way Program, sign a photo release waiver, and may be asked to provide proof of insurance.
WE WILL ASSIGN ARTISTS TO SPECIFIC AREAS WITHIN THE EVENT FOOTPRINT. YOU WILL RECIEVE AN EMAIL FROM ARTTHISWAYFW@GMAIL.COM. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FOR EMAILS. ARTISTS NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN DISPLAY MATERIALS. THE FOLLOWING LIST IS PERMITTED:
- 10' X 10' TENT (TENT MUST BE WEIGHED DOWN WITH 40+ LBS WEIGHTS)
- CARPETED WALLS, GRID WALL
- EASELS (BEWARE OF WINDY CONDITIONS)
- TABLES (4' - 8' IN SIZE)
- DISPLAY APPARATUSES
- PRINT BINS/BOXES
ARTISTS SELL WELL AT THIS EVENT. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT CREATIVES BRING POS SYSTEMS AND A HELPER TO FACILITATE SALES.

4. DEMONSTRATION: We ask that artist participants incorporate some sort of live element—for example, a ceramicist might bring clay for people to handle, or they might demonstrate clay building techniques. Please describe your 'live' component and define the area in square feet that you need for your set-up. Please also indicate any other needs, i.e. a permit from the Fire Marshall to demonstrate glass fusion.
