Before applying for RCC
1. Gather accreditation evidence, e.g., existing accreditations of equivalence level in the last 10 years, e.g. if applying for FIH L2, you must have something of equivalent level from your country.
2. Gather experience evidence. E.g., existing education qualifications, e.g. FIH Technical official or Umpire grading, sports science degree, teaching degree, diplomas (e.g. Business sports development, sport and rec management, diploma in elite sport), accreditations from other sporting clubs. Review what evidence you need to provide for the level you are applying for. (2026 add new).
3. Gather your hockey resume, which outlines experience and current relevant demonstrations of the level you are applying for, e.g. if you are applying for FIH L2, you might have evidence of coaching/officiating at a state/national level.
4. Provide relevant references to support your experience, e.g. an endorsement from a legitimate source to support the level you are applying for.
5. Complete practical assessment. For a Technical Official or Umpire - Arrange to complete a practical assessment observation at the relevant level with the help of your MA. For a Coach- You must attend a face-to-face FIH course to complete a practical assessment. Contact your local MA to support you with determining this.
