Class dates:
Thursday September 7th, 14th and 21st from 6-8pm. This will mostly run in studio but we may get outside for a short while just to play with settings, etc. With a full day outing scheduled on Saturday September 30th from 6:30am-4pm (with rain date scheduled for October 1st).
Ideal conditions for this day is an overcast/cloudy day so if it is sprinkling or light rain off and on, then the outing will run. Anymore rain than slight, we will push to our reschedule date.
Class 1 and 2:
Introduction to Photography which will include:
-Basic camera settings (where, why and how)
-Learning ISO, F stop and shutter for creative choices (exposur triangle)
-Rules of composition
Class 3:
will cover specifics related to our outing. Landscapes, nature, wildlife and gear. I will also get into a small lesson specifically on waterfalls.
Outing:
Workshop will run from from 6:30am-aprox 4 pm so it will be a long day but if anyone wanted to cut it short they could.
We will start at 6:30am at Wilson's Falls in Bracebridge
Stop 2: High Falls/Pott's Falls in Bracebridge.
Stop 3: Lions lookout in Huntsville (packed lunch)
Stop 4: Arrowhead provincial Park (Stubb's Falls, Big bend looking out and walking trail). Will be responsible to cover permit into the park. ($21)
**This is subject to change. Students are reponsible to drive themselves or can make arrangements with others to carpool.
-The outdoor outings allow us to practice and put these skills to work. It also allows time for me to help one on one with any issues you may have and walk you through specific tasks with your camera.
The studio is located at 149 Cardinal Street (north end of Barrie) out of my studio in the basement. It does have a separate entrance into the studio so it is mostly separate from my actual living space. I do have a cat in the home. She is not allowed in the studio but she does use the staircase, etc in her travels.
Maximum of 8 participants.
If anyone is sick during our in class portions, I do have the option to have you join from home via zoom.
There is no reschedule date, etc for anyone who is unable to attend one of the classes. I will however pass along any information they missed and if I have a few minutes the following week, I will fill them in the best I can.
The fee's for this class are $350+hst which can be sent by email transfer to tiffanyparadisphotography@gmail.com These fee's are NON-REFUNDABLE if you are unable to attend the class unless I am able to fill your spot. It is NON-REFUNDABLE once the class has started regardless of your attendance.
