Participant Information Sheet & Consent Form
  • Dear participant,

You are invited to sign-up to our European Network of Short Food Supply Chain (SFSC) Advisors, established via Horizon-Europe’s funded projects COREnet and EU4Advice.

Don´t miss this exciting opportunity to join the very first European advisory network focused on short food supply chains!

  • Benefits:

You will be connected to a wider European network of experts, advisors, and practitioners supporting short food supply chains—including those working with food hubs, Community Supported Agriculture, local markets, public procurement, and other initiatives strengthening local food economies, ultimately creating a strong ecosystem for the effective transfer of knowledge among stakeholders in Europe. You will be listed in a public advisors' database available on our EU projects website, as well as in the website identified as the platform of the European network of advisors for short food supply chains, your contributions will feed into policy recommendations at EU level, and findings will be presented internationally.  Future opportunities for those within the network should emerge and will be recognised Europe wide.
  • Purpose of research and networking activities

The COREnet and EU4Advice projects aim to increase the effectiveness of SFSCs across Europe and its EU member states. This approach requires interacting with existing formal and informal advisors, producers, consumers and adopting a more holistic and joint approach across the food supply chain.
  • What is expected from you

Your participation is entirely voluntary. If you agree to take part in this project you will be contacted to fill in a brief questionnaire about your role on SFSCs and take part in networking activities, including thematic workshops, knowledge-sharing and collaboration opportunities. For each activity, you will have the option to opt out.
  • LinkedIn Community and other EU-funded projects

Participation in this project will be followed by an invitation to join the Short Food Chain LinkedIn Community and the integration in other EU-funded projects such as the EU advisory service database i2connect, EU Farm Book, the Sustainable Food System Innovation Platform, and other sister projects related to food sustainability, innovation and knowledge exchange: ModernAKIS, Attractiss.
