  • How to Get Involved in The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Canada?

    The Award offers a variety of ways to make a difference in the lives of young people. Whether your organization is interested in becoming a licensed Award Centre, partnering with us to deliver activities, supporting as a mentor, or collaborating on community initiatives, there’s a role for everyone. You can also contribute by donating to help ensure the Award is accessible to all or joining our alumni network to inspire the next generation. Explore how you can help empower youth to develop the skills, resilience, and confidence they need to succeed in life!

  • Deliver the Award as an Regional or National Operating Partner

    An Operating Partner Licence grants an organization the right to operate and manage The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for young people (age 14-24) within the organization’s own remit or formal network. To be considered for an OP Licence, all interested parties must complete this Application Form.   The second stage of application will be a more detailed Licensee Evaluation conducted in conversation with our staff who will support you through the process. Please be aware, the Licensee Evaluation may require multiple meetings and can take some time to complete.

Your generosity will play a crucial role in helping us continue our mission to provide invaluable experiences and opportunities for youth to develop essential life skills, build confidence, and foster a sense of community. 
  • Application to Become a Collaborative Award Partner (CAP)

  • Thank you for your interest in becoming a Collaborative Partner with Award Canada. Collaborative Partners (CAPs) are those organizations whose mission and vision align with that of Award Canada and with whom a partnership would be mutually beneficial at a supportive and awareness level. (CAP’s do not directly deliver the Award or any Award Activities.) Once approved as a Collaborative Partner, your organization will be included on our website and promoted in future notices and newsletters  

    To be considered as a Collaborative Award Partner, interested parties must complete this Application Form.   

    Within 10 days of receipt of the application, a more detailed conversation with Award Canada staff will be arranged.  All successful CAPs will be required to sign an Agreement, which will be renewed annually.

  • Application to Become a Registered Activity Provider (RAP)

  • Thank you for your interest in registering your organization as an Activity Provider for one or more sections of the Award in Canada. Registered Activity Providers are those organizations whose mission and vision align with that of Award Canada, and whose activity is seen to be in support of young people registered with Award Canada and meets the Activity Section requirements. Once approved as an Activity Provider, your organization will be included on our website and promoted in future notices to registered Award Centres indicating the Award activity and level to which your activity aligns.     To be considered as a Registered Activity Provider, interested parties must complete this Application Form, along with a non-refundable fee of $50.00.

    Within 10 days of receipt of the application, a more detailed conversation with Award Canada staff will be arranged. All successful Activity Providers will be required to sign an Agreement and pay a fee of $200.00, which will be renewed annually.
