This Award recognises someone who has demonstrated an outstanding example of welding expertise on a particular project, attained meritorious skill in a Weld Australia Course, have made a contribution to the art and science of welding, or developed a welding principle, technique or process with special merit.Please note that this Award is open only to Weld Australia members in Western Australia.

Outline how the welding professional demonstrates dedication to their profession. This might include creating a positive company culture, being reliable, seeking feedback, meeting client deadlines, or volunteering to help.

Have attended a course of study and attained meritorious skill in one or more of the following Weld Australia certificates:Welding Operator Certificates 1 to 9; Welding Supervisor to AS 1796; Welding Supervisor to AS 2214; or WeldingInspector (300 words maximum)
