    Are you a 25 or 40-year veteran teacher or is this your year of retirement? 

    Each year, GMEA recognizes those teachers who have completed 25 or 40 years of service in the field of Music Education. GMEA would also like to celebrate those teachers celebrating their final year of full-time teaching.  If you are eligible for one of these recognitions, please complete this form. A certificate will be presented to you at the Opening Session during the In-Service Conference in January.

    You are invited to attend the Opening Session of the GMEA In-Service Conference and the President's Luncheon on Thursday, January 28, 2027, in Athens at The Classic Center. You must be backstage in the main theater at 10:00 AM for photos and to find your seating assignment.

    The President's Luncheon will follow the 10:30 AM Opening Session. Because this is a catered event, you must RSVP.  A link will be sent to you via email in November to secure your RSVP. Thank you!
