  • Request for Transportation Reimbursement

  • Limited funds are available to assist school, camp and non-profit groups with transportation costs for field trips to our museum. Reimbursements will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of $1,000 per school, camp or non-profit group per year. Funds will be provisionally reserved once the field trip reservation is confirmed. Reimbursement will be issued after the field trip has been completed and an invoice has been submitted to Irving Archives & Museum.

    1. Transportation and related arrangements are the sole responsibility of the school, camp, or non-profit group. Irving Archives & Museum assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, cost, injury or damage to persons and property, which may arise and result from such transportation and related arrangements.
    2. Irving Archives & Museum will not reimburse individuals. We will only pay individual schools or school districts, camps or non-profit groups directly for the cost of transportation.
    3. A designee from the requesting school or school district, camp or non-profit group must ensure Irving Archives and Museum receives an invoice on institutional letterhead for the cost of the transportation within three (3) weeks following the visit.
    4. Once the required invoice is received, payment will be made directly to the individual school or school district, camp, or non-profit group by the Friends of the Irving Museums.
