Entries to cover work from the 2022-23 season.
The LOVERACING.NZ Award for Contribution to Media, Digital & Content is open to all journalists, broadcasters, writers, photographers and content producers (including social media), living in New Zealand.
We are seeking entries from a variety of content providers and welcome examples of new and innovative methods of storytelling and audience engagement.
Entry criteria
- Entrants must submit a portfolio of at least three but no more than five racing-related stories or content pieces.
- Entrants may provide a statement of support of up to 300 words giving background to the entry.
- The statement can include details of resources used, effort put in and the impact of the content.
Entry format
- Stories should be pdf format or, if digital, a direct website link to the story.
- Photos should be in jpg, jpeg or tiff format and have captions within the file name.
- Videos should be m4v, mp4, mpeg4 or mov format.
- Audio should be in mp3, wma or wav.
- Please submit your content to Emma.Thompson@nztr.co.nz via DropBox, Google Drive or any other relevant sharing platform.
The judging will be undertaken by the NZTR Board and the winner will be presented with the LOVERACING.NZ Award for Contribution to Media, Digital & Content at the New Zealand Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Awards on Sunday 10 September. The black tie dinner will be held at Shed 10, Queens Wharf, Auckland CBD.
